I'm normally not a fan of celebrities starting fashion lines, however, I've been pleasantly surprised by Victoria Beckham's line since the first collection. After seven sold out seasons, she started a second line "Victoria" and here are a few from the Spring collection. I'm particularly partial to the Pink number, how about you?!

Happy Chinese New Year! This bamboo inspired tea set by Jean Boggio seemed fitting for the occasion. I was drawn to the bright red and the saturated blue combination-reminds me of the beautiful Gazebo in Golden Gate park.

This year, I've decided to add a few more segments and one being pretty interiors. This is the Paris apartment of fashion designer Andrew Gn. I like the richness of colors and luxurious vases. I would edit this fifty percent less for my own taste, but it's a great inspiration!

I know I'm a little behind on jumping on the Instagram bandwagon, but am glad I did! Reminds me of the first time I started using Pinterest-nothing short of a sweet addiction. I had this picture on my iphone from a few years ago and look how it's been transformed! The Instagram phenomenon has become a work of art in it's own right. To me, each theme tells a different story-the photos instantly take you to a different period of time.

Christmas came a little early for me this year. At least in the form of a gift that I've been wanting for a while, the Domino book! I must say it is the best design book I have ever seen- I stared at it for days. Lots of great tips and a feast for the eye. I highly recommend it for any design fanatic and especially for the ones who used to subscribe to Domino magazine.

I come across so many breathtaking bouquets and flower arrangements through various blogs and Pinterest that I decided add a feature edition to showcase the work and the talented artists behind the scenes!

This incredibly voluptuous bouquet with Protea flower and arrangements are made by Splendid Affairs\ and photographed by Hanna Lee. You can also check out Splendid Affair's fabulous digital magazine here
The mix of these flowers and textures are all sorts of wonderful!

(flowers used: gorgeous ranunculus, freesias and blushing bride), adding texture using proteas, succulents, moss, and kolkol for a distinct South African Romantic Look.)

Hello my lovely readers..hope you are doing well. Just dropping in to say a quick hello and share with you a few pictures I took in SF a few days ago. SF Union Square is full of culture and shops with unique displays. This one particular boutique had a window full of vintage sewing machines all shapes and sizes. These were not taken with SLR, but humble Canon point-and-shoot. I think changing it to black and white made it more authentic.

So..it's been about two months since I've been MIA.. I know the tired ole' excuse is "I've been so busy" but while that is partly true, the other side is that I needed a blogging break. Sometimes, you just need a little time away to come back with a fresh mindset and outlook. Okay..that's enough about me...

and now on to these love birds!

Assia and Hachim are the lovely couple featured here. The hubby works with Hachim and had the opportunity to shoot their engagement session along with the main photographer, Allen Morano.

It was a chilly yet cheery day sometime in May when the shoot took place. The Golden Gate Bridge and the Golden Gate Park were the perfect spots to capture this beautiful couple's love for each other. Congratulations to the newlyweds - Wishing you love and laughter, happily ever after!

Remember Pai Mei, the ruthless teacher of Beatrix Kiddo, from Kill Bill, with his infamous white beard and attitude...well, this is my Pai Mei and his garden of succulents...Isn't he the cutest thing you've ever seen??? I came across a lovely DIY succulent center-piece from here and I've been hooked ever since to make one my self. Got the succulents from Home Depot and the vase from Goodwill-that's right, I said Goodwill! Mr. Pai Mei came from my favorite store-Daiso. There was enough to make a small one too. It was a fun project and I'm looking forward to making more DIY projects like these as I'm turning a year older today.. :-) Happy July 4th everyone!

Hello ladies and gentlemen, hope your week is going well. I made few things with those Ranunculus I got last week. Both bout and arrangement had an organic feel-I used a full bloom, some buds, twigs, and feathers wrapped and adorned with lace and jewelry piece for the boutonniere. The arrangement was simple with the flower's stems cut short and bunched together in an egg carton. I'm quite pleased with the bout-still room for improvement. Can't wait to make more of these!

Over 200 floral designers had the privilege to make floral arrangements inspired by an american art/painting of their choice. Hello sweet people-I'm so excited to share this week's flowers with you. This has got to be my favorite tablescape I've done so far. The theme: Moroccan Eclectic with a touch of Shabby Chic and a dash of Alice in Wonderland! :P I used a garden bunch bouquet to create the look including Orange Daisies,Green Mums, and some fillers. The dainty jewelry added a shabby chic touch. I think this theme would be lovely for an intimate luncheon/dinner party for birthdays or bridal showers.

Have you noticed all the online magazines popping up everywhere lately??? Well,I'm not complaining-keep um coming I say. With all the free online decor and lifestyle magazines available, the want to buy printed ones are becoming less than desirable. Although, I must say there is nothing like flipping through a printed magazine on a rainy, cozy day. Even though, printed magazines will always be there (hopefully), e-Mags seem to be the future! One thing I love about them are the cute printables they provide and links to products they feature. I must admit, I'm tempted to start one myself!

Sorry I've been MIA for a week..sometimes, you just gotta take a break-y break..:) I was feeling uninspired with no fresh ideas and the break did a lot of good.

Now on to the color board! The inspiration for this board was the small flower arrangement below-loved how all the colors complimented each other. I can't get enough of Chinese Lanterns-I hope more people use this fabulous flower for events. This color scheme would be so fab for a summer/fall wedding or even bridal/baby shower. I would love to see an Indian wedding inspired by these colors, a nice change from the standard red don't you think? Anywhoo, wishing you a fantastic weekend..xoxo

How clever is this idea: handful of flowers adored on a bible in lieu of a traditional bouquet. I think it's quite charming and could be done with any book that's special to you.

These are from a vintage book-page inspired photo-shoot. To incorporate the literature theme into the bouquets, pages from an antique book was used and gave a few of the bouquets book-page loops around the border! Don't you just love that?!?!

Okay, so these aren't real flowers, but flowers nevertheless. These beauties are made of paper- love the giant sized flowers which gives a grand effect. The bride and her mother made them by hand. The bouquet was made with watercolor paper and watercolored by hand with peaches and pinks. All I can say is WOW!
